Skinology requires all clients to complete a consultation form prior to treatment. This allows our therapists to assess your skin and determine the most appropriate treatment plan.
Treatment times listed on this website or during booking are approximate only and may vary depending on the prescribed treatment, skin condition, or technology used during skin treatments and facials.
While our therapists are trained professionals and treatments are performed using appropriate protocols, individual results may vary depending on skin type, lifestyle factors and adherence to aftercare instructions.
Skinology will always aim to provide safe and effective treatments; however, clients acknowledge that all skin treatments carry potential risks, including but not limited to redness, irritation, sensitivity, swelling, pigmentation changes or temporary skin reactions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Skinology accepts no liability for adverse reactions, outcomes or complications that may occur as a result of treatments where the client has not followed pre-treatment or aftercare advice, failed to disclose relevant medical information, or undertaken treatments that may not be suitable for their individual circumstances.
Skinology also accepts no responsibility for any damages, loss or injury resulting from the use of information contained on this website.
Treatment recommendations made by Skinology therapists are based on professional judgement at the time of consultation and may change as skin conditions evolve.
Skinology reserves the right to decline treatment where a therapist believes the treatment may not be appropriate or safe.
Appointment Policy
Clients are asked to arrive on time for their appointment. If you are running late and we are unable to perform all services booked, we may need to adjust the services performed to fit within the remaining appointment time. The full cost of the originally booked services will still apply.
Please allow sufficient time for parking prior to your appointment to avoid delays.
Any no-shows, cancellations or rescheduling within 24 hours of your appointment will incur a $40 fee.
Client Conduct
Skinology is committed to providing a safe and respectful environment for both clients and staff. Any form of rudeness, aggressive behaviour, or swearing towards therapists will not be tolerated. Skinology reserves the right to refuse service and ban clients from the salon where inappropriate behaviour occurs.
