How it works:
Skin needling, also known as microneedling or collagen induction therapy, works by creating controlled micro-injuries within the skin using fine, sterile needles. These micro-channels trigger the skin’s natural wound healing response, without causing actual damage to the surrounding tissue.
This process stimulates fibroblast activity, leading to increased production of collagen and elastin — the structural proteins responsible for skin strength, firmness and elasticity. As the skin repairs itself, it becomes smoother, more even in tone and more resilient over time.
The channels created during treatment also enhance the absorption of active ingredients, allowing targeted serums to penetrate deeper into the skin where they can work more effectively.

What it feels like:
Skin needling is often described as a light vibrating or prickling sensation across the skin. You’ll feel the device gliding over the surface, creating tiny controlled micro-channels — but it’s generally very tolerable.
Some areas (like the forehead or around the mouth) can feel slightly more sensitive due to less cushioning in the skin, but overall it’s more “weird” than painful. We adjust depth and intensity based on your skin and comfort level, so it’s always tailored to you.
After your treatment, your skin will feel warm and tight — similar to a mild sunburn — which is completely normal and part of the skin’s natural repair response.
Down time:
Skin needling has minimal downtime, but you can expect some short-term visible effects while your skin begins to repair and regenerate.
Immediately after, your skin will appear flushed and feel warm — often compared to a mild to moderate sunburn. This typically settles within 24–48 hours.
Over the next few days, you may experience slight dryness, tightness or light flaking as the skin naturally sheds and renews itself.
Most clients are back to normal activities quickly, with many noticing that “post-treatment glow” once the initial redness settles.
