Our Dermaplaning treatments are designed to gently exfoliate the skin while removing that soft facial hair, leaving your complexion instantly smoother, brighter and beautifully fresh.
How it works:
Dermaplaning uses a sterile, medical-grade blade to lightly glide across the skin, lifting away dead skin cells and fine vellus hair in the process. This form of physical exfoliation reveals a smoother surface, improves product absorption and allows makeup to apply like silk — all without downtime or irritation.
What it feels like:
Most clients are surprised by how relaxing dermaplaning feels. There’s no discomfort — just a gentle, whisper-light sensation as the blade moves across the skin. It’s a perfect treatment if you want immediate radiance without any recovery time.
Down time:
There’s virtually none. You might notice a little pinkness right after your dermaplaning session, but it settles quickly. Your skin will feel soft, smooth and noticeably brighter the same day. SPF is essential afterwards to protect that freshly revealed skin.
Common questions:
Q: Will dermaplaning make my hair grow back thicker?
A: No — vellus hair grows back at the same rate and texture. Dermaplaning won't change the thickness, colour or speed of hair growth.
Q: How often should I get dermaplaning?
A: Every 4–6 weeks is ideal to maintain smoothness, glow and optimal product absorption.
Q: Is dermaplaning good for acne-prone skin?
A: Dermaplaning can help reduce surface congestion, but it isn’t suitable over active acne. We’ll assess your skin and recommend the right approach for you. But no, we do not usually recommend this service.
Q: Can I wear makeup afterwards?
A: Yes — and many clients find it applies far more evenly after dermaplaning.
